To complete a bad week, one of my sons has just had an ACL reconstruction and is on crutches and unable to bend his leg at the moment. Despite him being a STH of many years, the "Peoples' Club" is unable to accommodate him or help in any way at all. Looks like he will miss the game.

I would ask Roberto for help, but think he may be preoccupied with other matters at the moment...

that's utterly appaling, is that because we have such an old ground design which doesn't have the structure of these new builds where the gaps between tiers is larger?

Pellegrini would be a bit of a statement (I remember five live or someone saying he was out of reach for us) but he's not my favourite option.

First choice Mourinho but out of the question unfortunately , 2nd choice Pellegrini , 3rd mancini , 4th unai emery , 5th koeman , 6th De boer , 7th AVB , 8th marcelo Bielsa wouldn't consider anyone else

1st choice Mourinho, 2nd Pellegrini, Emery & Bielsa a distant 3rd IMO.

I would be bitterly dissapointing with any of the others and if I'm honest, I'm not overly keen Emery or Bielsa although every candidate on your list would be an improvement on our current situation.

We need to get this right though and the top 2 mentioned are miles ahead of the rest.

Are there really no British managers worthy of consideration? Almost everybody on here seems to be assuming that only the European managers are any good.
AVB seems to be a popular choice with some but is he significantly better than, say, Mark Hughes or Eddie Howe? It''s just a thought!

Not too sure what to make of the Pelligrini link. His Villarreal team was really good & he built it with little money. Not been impressed with what he's done at City though. He's quite old so not a long term view which worries me a bit

Reading the numbers of votes cast, it does occur to me that Team Vitor needs some kind of armed wing with which to cull this forum of its more deviant elements.
