Definitely Favre as my first choice. Bielsa would be great but don't see him coming in truth. Emery is an interesting shout but don't see him making the move.

Markus Weinzierl is so Everton its a suprise he isn't already our coach.

Overachieve on a low budget? Check.
Narrowly avoid relegation zone? Check.
Occasionally beat a giant (Bayern) with brilliant tactics? Check.

Chelsea also apparently interested in a couple of the names on the above list

Chelsea are drawing up a contingency list of managerial targets that includes Eddie Howe, Mark Hughes and Claudio Ranieri in case the club cannot land a stellar name this summer. With the Manchester City and Manchester United target Pep Guardiola seemingly out of their reach, Chelsea have identified Atlético Madrid’s Diego Simeone and the Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri as their top choices to take over as the club’s next permanent manager.

However, with Chelsea facing the very real prospect of missing out on Champions League qualification and possibly even finishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table, the club’s hierarchy are having to contemplate more achievable alternatives. That means Roman Abramovich, the Chelsea owner, may be forced to consider hiring his first British manager or bringing Ranieri back to the club.

Former Borussia manager. Led them from the Bundesliga relegation zone to the Champions League. Resigned in September - if we got him you never know what'll happen in the transfer market, could maybe bring Sommer and Xhaka with him.
Why did he resign?

Voted Eddie Howe, young, bright, evertonian, no nonsense defence with a decent attack, plays to the strengths of the team he has at his disposal.
Would love Mourinho but I think we would just be a interim step to something bigger, not too sure who else is out there suited to Everton, maybe try a cheeky punt at unai emery ? Does well with what he has, has the drive and determination to succeed with less than his rivals have financially ?
