.....but the odds are short with a number of bookmakers, in fact I don't think he was on the list earlier today. Suggests more than one person has had a bet unless there has been one significant wager. Even money is very short.

One bigish bet on him and that bookies will slash his odds right down, The other will follow suit just as quick incase someone has inside information

I think there is some validity in considering what makes Everton 'tick' when choosing our next manager. Like it or not, our crowd love players who get stuck in, and getting 'stuck in' seems to work very well for Everton imo. I think we need a manager that is on the touch line shouting instructions and motivating the team, rather than someone who just sits back and remains quiet throughout the game.

It is for these reasons that I am starting to have second thoughts about the suitability of Pelegrini. I think someone like Paulo Di Canio would be a much better option. He truly knows how to motivate his players, as he showed during his successful tenure at Swindon. He also managed to keep Sunderland up through breathing motivation into a lifeless Sunderland squad.
Lad?
Hope you aren't serious

....yep, agree with that. I don't think his odds were quoted so somebody must've asked and then gone in with the odds offered. Not sure what would constitute 'a biggish bet' in that market.

SkyBet took down their 'will RM be Everton manager first game of 2016/17' bet about 5 days ago, the 1/7 NO, 4/1 YES one. I wonder if the decision has been made, SkyBet know this and can't take the risk of getting hammered by those lucky enough to be in the know?

Not a lot I've been told as they panic given how easy it is for someone to pass info on
