Rafael took Valencia to the cleaners financially and gave LFC a bigger squad than most NFL franchises.

Even if we are loaded, he'd clean us out.

If we were just looking at trophies won then yes, Fat Rafael would be a contender. When you consider how much of a shoite talking slime he is then no way, he tried to belittle us far too often .

He wouldnt be in my top ten, but if we did end up with him, i certainly wouldnt hold the 'little club' jibe against him! All, that was Moyesey's mantra at the time too!

In what universe has he earned his chance at the top table? Nice bloke (Roberto comes over as a nice bloke!), but Hughton is a good Championship manager at best!

same as mick McCarthy.some managers just know how to crack the championship but just don't have it at a higher level.

Indeed we did slaughter him and rightly so mate.As was pointed out before(sorry cant remember who that was) Rafael did more to damage the relationship between the two clubs. It was in Moyes' best interest to talk us down so pressure wasn't placed upon him. It would be a terrible starting place for a manager to come in with that much hostility from the start.

No to Hughton for the Everton job but I can't understand why he gets knocked as much as he does. Shouldn't have been fired from Newcastle at all and will probably have two promotions on his CV by the end of the season.

Decent manager but Everton need better than that now.
