Didn't seem too confident an answer to me either.

Up until the last line from the questioner which he answered 'yes' , it seemed very far from confident . It's football so it's all wait and see , if it was out manager though I wouldn't be thinking he was 100% staying now though .

I'd imagine there will be twists and turns and ups and downs a plenty .

Could you imagine if he had said 'no' to the question about whether he sees himself at Saints...?

About as committal as Martinez was on Wednesday night when he pied off the interviewer for SKY

Not that I've seen today mate. Koeman doesn't seem out of the reckoning totally but I always thought it unlikely.

I think it'll be a good week or so before we even come close to knowing. Possibly even longer.

It was only yesterday we had a vancancy!

Given the time it took to bin off Martinez and the fact that this is Everton we are talking about, I fully expect the announcement after Euro 2016.

Board discussion - Wrong thread mate
Yes, I would love Danny to share a link with him and his advisor to this site
He could see and understand our vision and ambition for the club as fans - hopefully he is listening to the players.
The last thing we need now is another owner making key decisions in isolataton from the fan base and the players.

Strange - I was commenting on your post in this thread about the board "endorsing this new management team, and ignoring our wishes", so who's got the wrong thread?
I suspect all of us fans have a vision and ambition for this club and where we'd like it to be, just like I suspect Mr Moshiri has! Hopefully when we hear a bit more from him those visions and ambitions won't be too far apart!
My point, which obviously wasn't particularly well made, is that if him and his advisors go down the Koeman route we all give it a chance! We all have different opinions and different "wishes", Moshiri may be good but he ain't going to please every single fan with every single decision or appointment he makes in the months and years to come - he is by the very nature of things always going to be ignoring some of the fans wishes!

They've all started fawning over him and taking the mick out of Everton fans now on Twitter, just because of that. So scared of losing him to us! Hope we get him now.

I´m so so looking forward to this great club getting back into shape and start putting the likes of Leicester, Southampton, Stoke and West Ham back in their place.

Why on earth would that information be made public on a forum?
Wasn't expecting the publication of a detailed financial analysis but just an indication that my assumption was correct. That is that most of the mooted £100 million would be made up of player sales / TV revenue as opposed to what some very optimistic fans would assume i.e. the new billionaire investor is funding most of it himself. There's a huge difference between the two in relation to the pulling power we have for any potential manager.
