Get Mourinho before United do or get a manger who could potentially do better than he would anyway? Will be difficult to find that person. I'd be worried with Mourinho going to United mainly because it's been hilarious the amount of players who have snubbed them and watching their decline, and he'd probably change that mentality pretty quick. Still want him or De Boer but would be great if Mourinho went to United and flopped.

I think BK still lives in a 'jumper for goal posts' era and sadly lacks the business acumen that modern day football demands. I don't doubt his affection for the club but that's not enough to have us competing at the highest level. I'm hoping our new major shareholder and potential long term owner will bring those particular qualities to the club.

If that is true, then we need to go full bore for Jose - no more fannying around, get him on board sooner rather than later and let him get to work changing the mindset within Everton to WIN, WIN and WIN.
Just read Wilkins comments. Has anyone actually paid him do anything other than chat [Poor language removed] since Jose left Chelsea the first time? He's always on the telly and never has anything remotely insightful to say.

Its a bit weird with Jose's situation....skysports were quoting Jose saying he is very confident that he will be in work by July 1st but with who and where they don't know and that he wants to stay in England.
If its Man Utd then surely we have to be in his mind as a possibility (well better than Watford anyway) so its a possibility but still think he will end up at Man Utd
