I wonder if Mourinhos people are still talking to our people as was hinted by @esk a couple of weeks ago, and more importantly, does the term 'our people' translate as Moshiris people or Kenwrights?

He mentioned that Mosh is running the recruitment process. Bill is history.

100% doubt its "kenwrights".... His people are still trying to find Moutinho to sign, and probably sounding out Dyche at the moment.

Moshiri is driving the bus now.

I've been here for a while and having read a few hundred pages and the opinions about several possible candidates for
the job and I have this question. How was Claudio Ranieri's appointment at Leicester received?

Oh, and I've just looked up Southampton's trophy haul and, leaving out the less prestigious, it reads FA Cup 1976
Third division champions 1959/60, and Third division champions 1921/22. A bigger club than Everton, indeed.

What's your latest pecking order? I'm in the

1. Mourinho (naturally but not happening)
2. De Boer or Koeman
3. Open to decent options such as Favre, but he is a bigger gamble than the ones above him IMO.

I've talked myself out of Pellegrini, as distinguished as he is, it's not doing it for me.

...great hair though mate.

Exactly, every club thinks their club is big but Everton are a true sleeping giant, Sky and Kenwright and co have blinded a generation. Third Division Champions, we've never been that low thanks.

Last word from me tonight on this Koeman link.
He is wrong for us.
His assistant manager is wrong for us
The board endorsing this new management team would be ignoring our wishes and it,s ambition is at best a 6th place trophy with a cup run in us.
We blow millions on average players
We will blow millions on an average manager
He will be out of the club at the end of his contract.
Vault it and good night.

This is a ridiculous thing to say!
First of all let me make it absolutely 100% clear I am far being in the" Koeman in" camp myself yet, as the pollsters say I am currently undecided, unless Jose was appointed then I'm right there in the Jose in camp! I'd love you to explain how any football club in the Premier League or even the Foootball League can be run based on a fans wish list? You only have to look and read the varied opinions on this forum whether it to be about the new manager, John Stones defending, Lukaku's attitude or Leon Osman stealing a living off the club for the last two years, to know that any club of any stature cannot be run based on the fans wishes! In the particular example of Ronald Koeman it would appear just reading through the recent threads and posts that if anything there are more for Koeman than against at the present!
It may sound corny but we are all Evertonians (well most of us!) and we all have different opinions, we need to trust Moshiri and his advisors, and I do not include Bill K in that group, to get this right! Whether it be Koeman, Mourinho, Pellegrini, De Boer or whoever as a club and a fanbase we need to get behind them and at least give them a chance! Take a deep breath and be grateful it ain't going to be Sherwood, O'Neill, Megson, or Allardyce or may they're more in line with your wishes?
May be you could drop Mr Moshiri a line with your particular wishes, am sure he'd be delighted!
