Mourinho is poison.

Think back to how when we played Chelski we hated them. Not only did we hate them but we did it with a passion....horrible club.

Players and management wanting Everton players booked at every challenge, feigning injury to get a player sent off so they could gain advantage, harassing the officials for bookings, time, etc

Horrible club and created by Mourinho.

Yes he has won trophies, but at the same time his teams have been hated galore. They always will be as well as they are filthy to watch.

All winning teams get talked about when the times have gone, with positive comments and fondness, us, Forest, ManU, Arsenal - even the other lot from the dark side of the park. Great players, memories of special games, good football, good management etc.

Chelski great? No, just a team who won, dished out plastic flags, hated by a nation and loved it, players goosing their friends wives, poaching players at will, public enemy and loving it.

All that was created under Mourinho.

We deserve better than him, God knows we crave for success but let's not change to suit his singular philosophy. Would you really sell your soul to rub shoulders with those who we despise? Think about it for a moment.

We are Everton FC. Think of Dean, Catterick, Labone, Harvey, Ball, Kendall, Watson, Southall, all Everton greats.....all who are better in any way imaginable than that sulk from Portugal.

Everton are better, we deserve better, so let's hope Mr Moshiri can do his best for Everton, for us and that means no to Jose.
Not in disagreement with your post from a moral point of view mate;)
However I think football has changed & we're obviously not helping ourselves being Mr nice guys.
José would change that & give our players that us against the world mentality.
He would breed something that we've been missing for a long time...a bit of snide!!
Ironically the last time we won a trophy was when we were known as the Dogs of war!!
I would now happily embrace snideyness, being public enemy number1, even players goosing each others wives (pookie may be up for it once the swelling has gone down)
If we got back to winning titles again;)
Fickle & proud NEA:D

If you don't like him just admit it. I don't like Mourinho.

All I am saying is that Benitez has a great record, plus the fact he speaks the language, knows the Premier League and living in the North West of England is not a problem.

When you take all that into account he is a good prospect for us to win a trophy.

Look at our last two managers, from Preston and Wigan.

Would you not want a Champions League Winning Manager to take us forward?

Because he was recently sacked by Madrid and his team were relegated 3 days ago?
