Mourinho is poison.

Think back to how when we played Chelski we hated them. Not only did we hate them but we did it with a passion....horrible club.

Players and management wanting Everton players booked at every challenge, feigning injury to get a player sent off so they could gain advantage, harassing the officials for bookings, time, etc

Horrible club and created by Mourinho.

Yes he has won trophies, but at the same time his teams have been hated galore. They always will be as well as they are filthy to watch.

All winning teams get talked about when the times have gone, with positive comments and fondness, us, Forest, ManU, Arsenal - even the other lot from the dark side of the park. Great players, memories of special games, good football, good management etc.

Chelski great? No, just a team who won, dished out plastic flags, hated by a nation and loved it, players goosing their friends wives, poaching players at will, public enemy and loving it.

All that was created under Mourinho.

We deserve better than him, God knows we crave for success but let's not change to suit his singular philosophy. Would you really sell your soul to rub shoulders with those who we despise? Think about it for a moment.

We are Everton FC. Think of Dean, Catterick, Labone, Harvey, Ball, Kendall, Watson, Southall, all Everton greats.....all who are better in any way imaginable than that sulk from Portugal.

Everton are better, we deserve better, so let's hope Mr Moshiri can do his best for Everton, for us and that means no to Jose.

Who cares? We'll all still love Everton and that's what matters. No good being nice guys in pro sport.

Also, I disagree that it was Mourinho that made everyone hate Chelsea. Ambramovic's billions did that - transforming a small club in to a top dog.

It doesn't matter who is the next Everton manager, he has a top 6 squad here, don't let the Martinez shambles make you think otherwise.

Yes the Prem clubs have more money, we are a Prem club, we have the same handout, but we also have a billionaire looking for glory, and he can did 100m+ on top, that puts us in the top tier of clubs in this league.

Just sit back and enjoy the summer, next season we will be a top side, there are no doubts about that.

If you don't like him just admit it. I don't like Mourinho.

All I am saying is that Benitez has a great record, plus the fact he speaks the language, knows the Premier League and living in the North West of England is not a problem.

When you take all that into account he is a good prospect for us to win a trophy.

Look at our last two managers, from Preston and Wigan.

Would you not want a Champions League Winning Manager to take us forward?

Nar, would rather not appoint a manager whos just taken a team to the championship again, thanks for the offer tho.

Get your mum to tuck you into your "this is Anfield" duvet and go to sleep mate, no one is biting.

Did you just seriously use the language barrier is a reason why Rafael is a better choice than Jose? lol lol lol

Oh what irony. Absolute scenes here.

We need Rafael in cause the qualified translator's english isn't good enough to challenge the manuel impersonator lol lol lol

Benitez in charge of Newcastle was a mighty task to keep them up, so I think we can safely say that can't be counted. Hopes to God for some GOT sense.
