Anyone concerned that even if we somehow get Jose this summer, the United job will open up next summer, and he'll bolt for them just like Moyes did? Not saying we shouldn't get him. Just an additional concern that I'd want something built into his contract.

Not really.

If the supposed reasons/people who dont want him there are still there next season, nothing has changed.

Not concerned about that, if LvG stays on I reckon it's nailed on that Giggs will be his replacement when he eventually leaves

Just seen my old man for the first time in a couple of months, big Blue and normally talks a lot of sense, we were chatting about all things Everton and I asked him who he wants in charge.

He said (and I swear this is true...) "At first I wanted Allardyce, I thought he could do a good job for us, but now I want Benitez". I waited for the punchline but it never came. He was being totally serious. After I'd told him to go and give his head a massive wobble, he made matters worse by saying "Well if not then maybe that Burnley manager". "Sean [Poor language removed] Dyche?!!" I laughed. "Yeah him".

I'm starting to think I'm either adopted, or now he's in his 60's he has early onset of senile dementia.

Hopefully adopted pal

Anyone else got this horrible feeling that this is going to drag on longer than the sacking of Bobster?
My worry is that the club are too invested in one party.

Chase mourhino until he goes elsewhere and koeman signs new contract, De Boer goes elsewhere and we are in trouble.

No.

He should have been sacked March 6th, after the West Ham game, he was actually sacked 12th May.

2 months from now is the middle of July.

We will have a manager before the middle of June.

But feel free to post in the heads falling off thread.

Middle of June!!!!!!! Christ!

Bobby in ffs

Not necessarily. *IF* we actually get close enough to Mourinho (and he's interested enough) that we think it's worth waiting for him, then there's likely to be no shortage of quality managers interested in us.
