Arteta or Eddie Howe should get a look for us if Silva does get the sack. Not saying he should at the moment but if we don't make it very far in either cup competition, he will and should.

This makes me so mad. How can our fan base POSSIBLY want the likes of Eddie Howe, Dyche, Arteta or, god forbid, Moyes back. Its absolute madness to even contemplate those and some of the others mentioned. Its like we are all stuck in this "happy to be best of the rest' ridiculousness. Screw that - other than Liverpool and City - the rest of the Premier League is at its worst since its inception. We need a proven, ruthless manager, someone with pedigree, someone who knows how to win a trophy and NOT fight relegation - fighting relegation successfully or managing a mid table team seem to be both on the Everton Managers position description. Incredible.

The stupidity of this thread makes me sick in the mouth.
As we all have no frigging clue really and even less actual say in the matter.
Maybe we should change it to "what celebrity would be a good manager for us?"
I am going for Samuel L. Jackson - would do great half time talks and be great in the dugout , esp. with the eye patch!

He's a kopite mate

Not sure about Samuel L Jackson but couldn't BK get Stallone in to do a RAMBO: LAST BLOOD motivational week in coaching? Let him put the players through their paces;

Improve agility and anticipation by running through a booby trapped field.

Improve concentration by putting them on night sentry duty.

Improve shooting accuracy by practicing shooting accuracy.

Improve GK distribution with grenade lobbing.

I think it’s more the fact of they are the only ones who we could realistically get. Our last 4 managers are no better than Howe or Moyes.
How Silva got the job in the first place is the scary thing, Howe was much better qualified but unfortunately he didn’t have a cool enough name.

I have no idea of any decent managers willing to come here, Mourinho shouts show just how deluded people are.
