Jose was LVG’s and Robson’s assistant at Barce.

he didn’t end up doing too badly as a manager.
If your going to be an assistant learn from the best and thats what hes doing.
Arteta has already been schooled as a player in Cruyff football so its all going along nicely.
Hoping:
- he goes to Eredevisie soon,
same type of route as Ten Haag (Bayern under Pep, then manager at Ajax)
- while marcel works on getting in younger players either schooled in the Cruyff ways or with potential to (ie Sth Americans)
- with Arteta coming back to Everton, as the manager, within 5 years
For me, with TC as assistant, that'd be the dream.
In the meantime....

It won't happen but I'd go for Wenger on an 18 month deal with Tim Cahill as his assistant with the understanding that he will be manager at the end of that period.

For those who love a bit of the experienced 'world class' but too expensive to fit our budget...Ancelotti will be available soon.

mate hes as bad if not worse than silva..

It's not going great for him at the moment, but his achievement at Sevilla should command some respect. I think the Arsenal board slipped up not reuniting him with Monchi, who was perhaps the best recruiter of talent there's been in recent times.

He made some terrible signings for Roma though.

True, the failure rate was far too high. Maybe he wasn't suited to that league?

Some of them didn't work out at Sevilla, but he kept moving players through and made a profit on the successes that financed the ones that didn't make it. Maybe not an approach that the biggest clubs would appreciate.

Made some bad ones at Sevilla this season too.
