If we went for Moyes I'm finished with this club. The ultimate piss take and insult

I dont want Moyes but the fella is miles better than the current dosser.

Atleast you'll see a bit of fight in the players and someone giving the ref ear fulls - not rolling over being screwed week after week by poor decisions.

What? They guy who has been binned off by sociedad, west ham and Sunderland??

A bit of fight? We had some truly awful spells under Moyes far worse than now

Aye but he worked miracles on his near non existent budget under Kenwrong.

On an interim deal until the end of the season I wouldn't be against it if it meant getting rid of the current shyster.

You're constantly on here screaming about ambition, then say you would accept Moist back, the fella who had 11 years to achieve zilch, who would celebrate getting a nil at a top ground!!!!

Not permanently - but on a 6 month deal until the seasons end with a top manager taking over come the seasons end I could live with it.

What do people expect from the man on a transfer budget of about 27p? I think on our spend, and from our starting point, Everton 'should' have been relegated, but Moyes prevented it, making a number of astute signings (Arteta being one) along the way. If he has a weakness it's not being able to detect a poison chalice of a job when he sees it. I'm not saying he should be appointed here now, but he does at least deserve a bit of respect.

I couldnt think of many things worse

Might not have a choice after these December fixtures mate!

The cup quarter final is the only game im actually confident in us winning (I think the fans will see us over the line/ Leicester will rotate) - we could very well be in and around the bottom 3 half way through the season come New Year which is massively poor.

I doubt he will be gone unless theres an absolute disaster,he will see out the season and even then I cant see the next man in being much different

I've intentionally stayed out of these conversations recently because (1) I don't think the club is currently in a "relegation fight", (2) I think the results have been unlucky even if Silva's side is still disappointing, and (2) I don't think Silva is leaving unless things turn significantly worse between now and Boxing Day. That said, EFC currently sit 3 points off 5th place in the league, so there's "a lot of football left to be played"

It’s impossible to judge Arteta from an assistant role, by that logic Brian Kidd or Mike Phelan were world class management material.

We know nothing of his managerial abilities.

He should serve his time in a lower league management role before before getting a look in at this level.
