See I disagree with this. benitez would demand a very good salary and also likes to spend money - hence why he's left Newcastle. Benitez is also one of the big top managers, so you say we cant get Poch or Jose, then go to say get Benitez. In my opinion Rafael is a bigger name than Poch.
I see where you’re coming from here and good point. Benitez though is slightly different in that he has managed Newcastle and some team in China of late, it’s unlikely he would get to one of the very top teams nowadays. Arsenal perhaps, but due to him having a very famous house in Liverpool and the rumours are he still lived there until he moved to China, there are alternative factors.
He just seems to be an exception of one of the top managers we could get that’s more what I meant.

There was an article on the Athletic the other week saying that Arsenal seriously thought about giving Arteta the job before hiring Emery. The only thing that swung it was Arteta’s lack of an established back room staff.

Arteta is basically the new Guardiola, he just hasn’t found his wing man yet. That’s where Tim Cahill comes in...

And he’s gone to spurs. So is arteta the nxt Jose? Benfica? Have I missed something lol
Any manager is unproven until they're not. Most managers work their way up to a biggish job, but some jump right in. Is Arteta the next José? I have no idea, but the odds aren't good. But there's a world of possibility between the level of managers we've had lately and a guy who's won 8 league titles, 2 Champions Leagues, 2 Europa Leagues and ~15 other trophies
