Nope arteta isn’t coming some fans can’t grasp this he’s UNPROVEN

fans do grasp he's unproven

but every manager is unproven until he takes on his job, pep was unproven when he took over barca, jose was when he took over at porto, lampard was unproven when Chelsea hired him

not saying I want arteta either btw, but to just dismiss it as unproven is a bit silly considering he's spent years working under the worlds best coach

Working “under a manager” isn’t being a manager.

I don't think we stand a chance to attracting Pochettino because we are behind Bayern, Real or United.

Our best bet is to find the next Poch which is a big gamble but I think it's only a matter of time before Arteta is in with Silva gone.

I don't think he'll go to Bayern, Erik Ten Hag is Bayern's likely choice in the summer. And Tuchel their other preference if he was available, Pochettino would be down the list for them.

Pep proved himself in Barcelona B having won the league with kids (against Adults). He was always going to become manager providing he did the job below well. Same with Zidane with Real Madrid Castilla. Lampard did a good season with Derby and lost in the play-off final. By no means were they world class at the time but they also had some management experience that had positive results. Mourinho managed Benfica replacing the fella who was Bayern boss recently and did okay as well, having only left due to some president crap that wanted his own man in charge. He also managed a small club and took them to 3rd or 4th in Portugal (beating 1 or 2 of the big four in portugal).

Arteta has zero management experience.

I'd still be okay with him being given a go like.

So Mourinho was unproven before getting the 2nd(?) biggest job in Portugal.

He was put in charge as cover, like a caretaker if you like, he was a coach or assistant at the time I think. Not as a primed replacement. He earned the Porto job while at the small club Unaio de Leifa or something like that.

In Portugal they do seem to promote from smaller clubs quite a bit though, Silva going to Sporting for example.
