Erling Moe. Just about to seal the Eliteserien which will be an even more recent trophy in 2 weeks.Jorge Jesus. Won this night Copa Libertadores
Wit 2 Strong Central Midfielders behind themWe need a manager who swear to god to play Richarlison, DCL and Kean up front then play Iwobi behind them
For a proven winner he has 3 trophies* and has been managing since 1986!! That's pretty much the reason why not. Because aside from the Leicester miracle he's the most bang average of bang average. And the fact that he's 68 makes it unlikely we are getting more than a year or two so we are right back to square one then. What about Ranieri?
I'd rather him than most on this poll. Is a proven winner, has managed big ego's at the likes of Chelsea, and turned Leicester into champions. Leicester!
Any decent reasons why not?
Leicester wasn't a miracle. He built a bloody good side that played better football than anyone else that season. He may have been managing since 86, but this was 2 years ago, in our league, and the legacy of which still has them 2nd in the league this year. I'd take a year or two of that, because in that time we've had Koeman, Allardyce, and Silva while spending bucket fulls of cash. For a proven winner he has 3 trophies* and has been managing since 1986!! *Top flight trophies. He's won Serie C and Ligue 2. I'm not counting that.
First off 4 years ago. Secondly he took over right at the start of the season they won the title so less building and more coming and getting the most out of what was there. But that's all pointless anyway because that season is clearly the outlier in his career. There's very little reason to expect that he would do that here. Or really anything positive. Have you seen what he's been up to since Leicester?Leicester wasn't a miracle. He built a bloody good side that played better football than anyone else that season.
