The worry with Areta is he will likely only know how to play tippy tappy football which is great if you have the players to do it (like Pep has at City).

With us at times he will need to mix it up, go back to basics, long ball etc he imo wont have a clue with any of that.

The worry with Areta is he will likely only know how to play tippy tappy football which is great if you have the players to do it (like Pep has at City).

With us at times he will need to mix it up, go back to basics, long ball etc he imo wont have a clue with any of that.

Truth is we don't know what Arteta is, we understand his football philosophy is very much passing and pressing football - but the truth be known, until he's in a job we don't know if he will assess squads and alter that to suit.

He might be an amazing tactician, we have no idea.

I'm not so sure, I would take him over the likes of Moyes and Howe.
My concern would be fans turning on him.
Saying that though, I read yesterday what he said about his small club comment and I believe he meant it was just aimed at the tactics, not our glorious club.
