It’s disgraceful that Arteta is a close second in this poll. He has managed one first team game in his whole career. He is in no way qualified for the Everton job. I’d go as far as to say that throwing an assistant manager into a team who are in the bottom 3 mid season is a recipe for relegation . Would be an absolutely ridiculous move and if Everton do that it’s just proof that there is no one with a single brain cell left at the footbll club.

Can you see Mourinho working with Daniel Levy?
Yes. He will be in London a city he considers home and working with a top tier club which now regularly competes in the CL.
He could even end up at Arsenal.
Either way I am certain we will remain securely off his personal radar.

Arsenal I can see as there is minimal interference there. Spurs I don't think can happen as Levy is the man who buys and sells, and the "coach" is told to shut up and train the team.

You would think most clubs who operate a DOF model work in a way similar to this these days, no?

Ruling us out for a start (as if that’s the only reason he wouldn’t come here).

strange isn’t it. Not surprise nobody knows anything about his style and philosophy and yet adamant he will do well here.
Pure speculation to be honest.

Sentimentality - Ring a bell with anyone
He has no leadership style about him - he needs to cut his teeth in Spain first.
Meanwhile in the London Bunker the leadership are just putting there fingers in there ears hoping that it,s all a dream.

We will never get Simeone - especially as we have a relatively unstable club now in which half a season of mediocre results will get him sacked - Everton is a massive comedown from Atletico come on. He'll as a minimum want a PL Top 6 club. and come on Mourinho? he can't coach any more he will not just accept our players that we currently have and will only do well after a one year and 3 transfer windows when he blows £150 m on his 'own players'. AND neither of them will work with Brands!
We have to stick with Silva for now, but if we don't, then it has to be someone who is willing to work with our existing squad - apart from the obvious squad players who have to be replaced, and the gaps we currently have - and make it work with the current players. Our squad is still the best we've had in the PL era in terms of quality and depth. When we had Cahill Arteta and co we also had crap. When we had Lukaku, Stones and Barkley we also had mediocre crap like Alcaraz, Kone and Robles - now our squad players are internationals like Tosun, Walcott, or excellent young players like Davies, DCL, Holgate . It's a good time to take over the club and I think Howe or Dyche are the best options for us if we have to replace Silva

Just imagine, would be a huge statement from the club but if he had already chosen us then I'm sure it would of been announced and Silva gone

why do it to yourselves !

real madrid have begged him behind the scenes to come back, and he has rebuilt the bridges he destroyed their last time..
