If your implying hes better than Silva, im not sure he is.

I get that people dont rate Silva, but he will do more in the game than Wilder, Howe or Dyche, IMO hes already done more than they will ever achieve.

uhhhh, we may as well be. That's a seriously possible 0 points and we'll be halfway through the campaign.

No Silva doing well in the Portuguese 1st division and the Europa league impresses me more than a solitary knock out cup win.
Bob Stokoe won the cup with Sunderland and I never wanted him to manage us.
Martinez won the cup with Wigan and that turned out well for us didn’t it?
I am also more impressed with Silva at Sporting and Olympiakos than anything Marcelino achieved so far.
If we do end up dismissing Silva I hope we can do better than a mediocre Spaniard with a solitary cup win under his belt.

Think its just paper talk tbh mate the board wouldn't know what a Marcelino is.

I would definitely have him over Silva though or any current manager in the Prem who we could attract.

He also got Valencia in the champions league twice? That's more impressive than anything Silva has done. That being said I think he is another punt but who do we appoint? I am not sure many coaches of a high quality will be knocking our door down.

We need someone who is a winner, a disciplinarian, a leader of men. Someone tactically astute and can teach our players how to be resolute and incisive in attack. Not sure who that is...

Valencia should be competing in the Champions League they are a big club in Spain, its not that exceptional.
