I personally like Gallardos playbook myself, no fuss, relatively simple defending with plenty of bodies in the box on offence. No idea how he manages to communicate in English though which is absolutely critical.... Rumours of him going to Barcelona are still going strong so might be difficult to turn his head Merseyside....
 
Wouldn’t be going to Barcelona till the end of the season at the earliest, Valverde will be afforded another go at the champions league.
He’s doesn’t really play the Barcelona model but.

To be fair bro I don't think we have a shot at even full fat milk manager, never mind cream-topped. We're looking at either at skimmed or long-life off the shelves at room temperature milk right now and for the foreseeable.

I'd love us to get a proven winner, but I think Benitez would be the only half likely candidate and we don't know if he'd even be open to it. Don't think many fancy foreign managers want to manage the struggling second biggest club from Liverpool, even on a big wage.

That Ajax fella might be a good'un, but why would he trade them for us? Wouldn't make any sense. I think this Gallardo would be a risk worth taking, but think there could be lower risk options out there. No idea who, though!

If we were in London I think it'd be a completely different story...

Actually I also think this match has Moyes style, indeed the most of time of Big Dunc was under Moyes at Everton. The managerial style is quite similar to Moyes
 

If the board doesn’t really have someone planned and Dunc wins against Utd and gets us through against Leicester I reckon he could get the job until the summer. But yesterday was mad with so much hype and that didn’t help Chelsea, if for the next 2 games Dunc is in charge that will give us a better idea what he is made of. But please no Vitor or Howe they would be awful appointments atm, I’d actually prefer Moyes than them 2 atm . But Howe with a pre season behind him might not be to bad.

Just isnt for me mate.

Until the board realise not everyone who does well in the bum leagues like Portugal, Turkey, Greece and South America means they are going to be the next Pochettino (as they thought with Silva) we'll continue to hire duds not ready for the step up.

Dont think the blokes even won the league in Argentina how is he expected to mastermind us breaking into the top 6?

Its a no from me. Would rather dour arse Moyes back.

It was interesting really, the age of Chelsea’s team really helped us as we bullied them and they couldn’t handle it.. had Lampard, Terry and Drogba been in that team we would of got beat. Pretty sure we would of beaten anyone yesterday bar RS and City. We won’t get the same again
