It’s gotta be Bielsa. Could you imagine some scals wheelying down to his house in Formby to have a go and getting chased away by military explosives.

This is a man who was still a rookie 37-year-old manager at Argentinian club Newell’s Old Boys in 1992 when they lost a Copa Libertadores game 6-0 to San Lorenzo and a group of the club’s hardcore supporters went to his house to protest to him personally about the defeat.

He allegedly opened the front door to them holding a grenade and said he would pull the pin if they did not clear off, before chasing them down the street.

If the board doesn’t really have someone planned and Dunc wins against Utd and gets us through against Leicester I reckon he could get the job until the summer. But yesterday was mad with so much hype and that didn’t help Chelsea, if for the next 2 games Dunc is in charge that will give us a better idea what he is made of. But please no Vitor or Howe they would be awful appointments atm, I’d actually prefer Moyes than them 2 atm . But Howe with a pre season behind him might not be to bad.
Howe has as much defensive organisation skills as Silva and Martinez. We need to appoint a manager with a winners mentality, not someone who regularly loses 4/5 games on the trot

Sunday Supplement actually talked about us and was quite positive about us for once. Saying there would be 100s of managers wanting the job. Yesterday was a throw back but not the answer.
Then they discussed who SHOULD pick the manager and how the club is divided at the top and it needs sorting

Criteria:
Reputation for instilling hard work ethic in his teams.
Tactically astute, experience winning big games.
A touch salty (especially with officials and applying pressure through the media).
Aggressive high tempo style.
...
And a little bit nuts/ eccentric/ charismatic

Agree with all of that. Add in plenty of golazos and we’re done.

Tough 1 really between the 2 as the season after was awful for both.
Martinez played better football and I’m sure 4th was on the low end of points needed for 4th

Usually 72 points would have been enough to get top 4. Was unfortunate for us and Martinez.

And yeah Moyes' 4th was on the unusually low end too.

Think you’re misreading the article. It’s just a guy saying who he thinks we should go for.

Marco Rose will not be coming here.
Yeah just seen that. Does make interesting reading . Rose and the other guy haeller have good records in Austria and now Germany. I've never heard of them tbh. But shows there are other candidates out there
