Might not be the right time just now, but should keep an eye on Silva's old assistant Joao Pedro Sousa. Sitting third in the Portuguese league, managing a tiny little club who've just been promoted. Don't think it's a big shock that when he left in the Summer we've been dreadful, seems he may have had a bigger impact than thought.

For now, Pochettino always the number one for me - although seriously doubt he'd take this job.

Seen this alot, but wasn't he assistant manager when we was awful from December 2018 to March 2019?

Yeah should definitely keep an eye on him, I think Poch has already said no I believe

Kovac or Gallardo for me, I think Kovac seems the safer option with him playing and managing in Europe, it might take Gallardo a bit of getting use to but would be a shame to miss the opportunity of someone whos touted as being the next best manager around

Extremely disturbing that Ferguson has gone from rank outsider to vying for favourite within 24 hours.

Indicates that the board may be struggling for candidates more than you think

Who the bookies have as favourites has zero relation to who the Board are considering, so why does it indicate the board are struggling? It just indicates that nobody is getting any inside information, that it’s tight as a drum and that the bookies need a new name at the top of the pile every few hours to encourage dopes to give them their hard-earned for it.

I think it is moyes I think.

indicates the sheer garbage talked by the press.
Not necessarily.

It’s been often stated here that ‘all’ prices on manager markets are driven by very little other than speculation. However look at it another way, if individuals did have ‘solid’ info one way or another, surely those people would be hitting the market with that info quite heavily?

Macro Rose is being talked up as the new managerial target especially by brands. Top of the German league and dos well at RB.
Don't know much about him
Just read a report about him, then did a bit of background reading. I know very little about him other than that, but what I read sounded interesting enough to try and find out more. Could be an interesting name in the hat.
Does @Zatara have any decent info on Marco Rose that can be shared?

I think the manager will already be identified.

Compare the board from Unsworth where they were talking of giving him an audition to Big Dunc of Kenwright/Dunc himself talking as if it was a one off until a manager comes on board.

I'll be shocked if we haven't anyone appointed by Friday imo.

He's basically a disciple of Klopp but has Rene Maric as assistant. Maric got a reputation as a master tactician and top managers such as Tuchel were known to have used his services.

So he has the communication skills and a master tactician by his side...

Does the whole gegenpress /counter press thing...pushes attacking teams wide and man marks in the centre.

I think he could be interesting but doubt he would leave till the end of the season.
