Marcellin lands in London
Marcelino García Toral is currently, as Superdeporte has been able to confirm, about landing in London after catching a flight from the
British Arways company
(BA 409) on the morning of this Sunday.
The flight of the former coach of Valencia CF in the direction of London coincides with the situation of Arsenal, which has won nine consecutive games without winning among all competitions. That already cost Unai Emery the job, who was fired after the defeat in
Europa Leagueagainst Eintracht in Frankfurt. His interim substitute, former player 'gunner' Ljungberg, has failed to improve that dynamic and has tied a game and lost another to Norwich and Brighton respectively. On the other hand, the Everton is another of the benches that were free but they have managed to win with their interim Ferguson. In England they claim that the chosen one is Vitor Pereira, although the club 'toffee' has also probed Marcelino in recent days.
Several months after his dismissal from Valencia CF it seems that Marcelino García Toral's short-term future as a coach may be close to being realized. The Asturian coach still has no destination to face a new project after Mestalla, where he returned a few
weeks ago
to receive an award from the Association of Small Shareholders. The inability to train in LaLiga Santander forces Marcelino to look at other leagues such as the Premier League, in which he can debut with a contract in the coming hours.
