I think Brands is currently driving this.

Whether he wins or not time will tell.

But I think if it was down to Bill we would have Moyes, if it was down to Moshiri he would be offering Poch his magic number, cos despite everything, everybody has a magic number.
Anything other then Moyes being here will do even if it meant keeping big Dunc on for a while.

I think they’ve left it in the right hands but only time will tell

Its a simple question, from a football simpleton, (in terms of foreign mangers).

Would any of these Kovacs and Marcellinos or anyone, with 2 days to play with, make the difference Duncan made?

Not advocating one or the other, just curious.

Not necessarily.

It’s been often stated here that ‘all’ prices on manager markets are driven by very little other than speculation. However look at it another way, if individuals did have ‘solid’ info one way or another, surely those people would be hitting the market with that info quite heavily?
Say a manager is 50/1 an you knew he was coming m, soon as u put any money on him his odds plummet

Maybe not, but with it being a home game, Dunc was helped there.

Not sure he'd have got that response had it been Chelsea away, shall we say.

I don’t think we would of had the same response if we were away from home.

it will be interesting to see if we can get a new manager bounce as soon as this new guy comes in

I'm happy with ferguson for next 3 or 4 matches. We have 3 home matches coming up after utd. I'd be happy to pick up couple wins there. And the cup win. He might have the team on a bit of a high.

Difficult for new manager to come in before utd away but jan transfer window will be important. We need a CB and midfielder at least. So that might speed things up in relation to someone coming in.

Depends on the style of football, I guess. Marcelino is an effective but dull manager (he was when at Valencia, anyway) whereas Gallardo favours a fast transition. After yesterday, I think we know what style suits us

Reading the replies to those tweets, the Arsenal fans are fuming at the possibility of Marcelino being their new manager
