I thought he would be a great option couple years ago. But looking at arsenal the play was too slow. Would have us organised I'm sure in away matches but I'm sick of side ways continental football and it just doesnt work at goodison. Last 5 years has proven that beyond any doubt.
 
Leonardo Jardim supposedly in the frame from what I see. He would have been my choice to replace Martinez but a lot of water under the bridge since then.

He made a mistake going back to Monaco after getting the sack but at least it shows he doesn't let things like that hold him back. He has been consistently sold a pup there since winning the league, having seen a succession of top class players sold and replaced on the cheap.

I would not be as keen on him now as his experience remains limited and there are too many variables as to whether he would prove a reliable choice or not.

Emery? If he can't do it at Arsenal, he isn't going to do it here. I am more and more coming to the idea of keeping Duncan until the end of the season. Maybe bring in an experienced Coach to help him.
