Arsenal was a poisoned chalice for Emery and the next manager as well. They have some excellent players but not enough and have a sense of entitlement that doesn't work in the Premiership.
Emery is a good manager and will have learned what is needed and what won't work from his time at Arsenal.
Not a terribly likely appointment but would be a good one. We would have been thrilled to get him before his Arsenal experience.

Emery isn't a bad manager at all and has won plenty.

But his away record at Sevilla was woeful at times so that doesn't fill me with confidence. I'm not sure he's the right fit tbh.

Just seen we've approached Emery. Does not inspire one bit. No thanks. Benitez if we go outside the club (for a winner).
After that don't shoot me but I would have Moyes. I would keep Dunc with Moyes as a pair. At least until the end of the season. Random foreign managers won't sort out this club on the pitch. Dunc has shown what will.
