It’s a judgment, not a fact. I could easily be proven wrong, but doubt I will.

I know that he said that himself, but what does that even mean ?
All coaches are potential managers, he is 47 years old, worked closely under three managers, it is his ambition to manage... I am not sure what it will take for him to be ever ready apart from leaving Everton and trying his luck with a different club.

I just don’t think he is smart enough to be a top-level manager. He could do it in the lower leagues, but I doubt he wants to.

Management is not an easy job.

Im torn RayRay.

He got a proper tune out of the players, the best managers in the world get that 10% out every game, but its not just about motivating players, its about tactics and dealing with problems.

The whole Ole farce at United has made me a bit concerned.

I would defo be up for giving him a few weeks and if results were good even the whole season, our options increase so much in May.

But its a tough 1.

And I know people say he should go away and prove himself, but no other club will mean as much to Duncan as Everton do, so if we assume his greatest tool is currently motivation, hes gonna struggle to properly motivate himself elsewhere.

Lets see how this unfolds.
