But there are a lot of other managers who are considerably better that are available as well. This isn't "oh, Everton HAVE to go with Moyes/Pulis/FSA", Kovac, Marcelino, Ancelotti, etc are available. What happens when you sack someone in December. Its difficult to get who you might want. Unless you are getting an out of contract manager like Moyes, it takes ages.
Update from Philly K, Believe it or don't.
- Dunc in charge for United on Sunday and is likely to still be in the dugout for the Carabao Cup quarter-final tie with Leicester City at Goodison on Wednesday night.
- could have the new man in place for the home game against Arsenal on December 21.
- Moshri has final say, Brands and BK helping.
- It is believed that Everton are open to the idea of appointing a manager who does not have any Premier League experience and David Moyes' hopes of a Goodison return also appear to be fading.
Point 3 is scary.
I think Duncan has bought them a little bit of time and they are using it to try and bring in a proper manager.Any chance of announcing our new manager?
why is our club so painfully slow to do anything?

Moyes is the backup option and the shameless get is more than happy to take the reins if nobody else can be found. The div will probably think he's doing us a favour.Time works against Moyes...they can’t squeeze him in later..
Well planning permission going in for BMD, they will announce it then and use the ground news to bury itAny chance of announcing our new manager?
