But there are a lot of other managers who are considerably better that are available as well. This isn't "oh, Everton HAVE to go with Moyes/Pulis/FSA", Kovac, Marcelino, Ancelotti, etc are available.
Marcelino and Kovac are nowhere near Ancelotti’s class. He would have to be first choice if willing to come.

Of course the question then becomes, how much does he want, what budget does he demand, is he going to be fully committed or only seen at the club on match days, etc etc.

Ferguson appears quite capable to hold the fort until a more experienced manager is introduced....

So no rush to appoint a manager just yet...

Never said they were, I said there are considerably better options to Moyes who are out of contract.

Did you forget to put - “ unlike Moyes “ at the end of the last paragraph or is it a subliminal message lol

Let’s see how he does at the weekend before making that assertion. It’s difficult to expect the players will match the commitment they showed last week every time, especially given what they’ve shown before.

That’s the thing. I felt we were distinctly fortunate to get such a flattering score line against Chelsea. On another day they could have pasted us, had they taken their chances.
