But there are a lot of other managers who are considerably better that are available as well. This isn't "oh, Everton HAVE to go with Moyes/Pulis/FSA", Kovac, Marcelino, Ancelotti, etc are available.

Marcelino and Kovac are nowhere near Ancelotti’s class. He would have to be first choice if willing to come.

Of course the question then becomes, how much does he want, what budget does he demand, is he going to be fully committed or only seen at the club on match days, etc etc.

Never said they were, I said there are considerably better options to Moyes who are out of contract.

They are bigger gambles though, especially Marcelino. Managers from Germany translate better, I think, and Kovac is less of a journeyman.

Moyes would be the steady option with clear upside.
