How we missed the boat with Brendan Rodgers.....I recall a few comments on here saying the only difference between Leicester and Everton is Jamie Vardy. What an understatement. Moyes there was like Sam was here did the job they were asked to do, but they weren’t a popular choice. So they were both relieved of there jobs. If a team has aspirations to be a top team Moyes and Sams faces don’t fit. That’s why they were replaced. But both teams are doing no better now, actually we are doing much worse under silva.

How bad would it make Moshiri look, whored himself to get Koeman, had to go to Allardyce, whored himself for Silva, had to go to Moyes.

But it’s got to the point needs must, this shambolic situation can’t continue any longer.

I think one thing the board forgot is that the longer this goes on the more we will struggle to get a good manager. That imo is why the boards should have reacted a lot sooner when all signs was pointing toward things seriously not going right. Literally after every game we play I think we will have less managers interested in getting the Everton job which means in turn a smaller pool of managers to make the decision from.

I didn’t say I liked them, I was just stating they did the jobs they were asked to do Sam here, Moyes at West Ham. The6 are a safe bet with a bit of support by the owners, to get you out of trouble. The likes of Howe, Hughes etc would be much riskier appointments. It’s not about glamour now it’s getting the club back on track,then regrouping in the summer.
