Cahill brings nothing to the table. He'll be a yes man to moyes, that's all. Cahill has the personality of a plank of wood. Totally unimpressed with him when he talks football.

Would rather have Cahill than Arteta. He gave his best years to the club, while Arteta sees the highlight of his career as captaining Arsenal.

Right now I would take Usworth as an interim, anything to have Silva gone.

Moyes is not a great option, but I think he can keep us up

Unsworth is proved a risky options, no big name managers will come now, especially in the mid season and we are in relegation zone. Moyes is a realistic option and familiar to our club and premier league. Many coaches in the club are familiarize him too.

Absolutely disgrace that with this group of players there’s people saying we’ll go down. I don’t disagree that we could but Christ this squad shouldn’t need anyone managing them to be able stay in this league. Players get away blameless far too much these days. I think tonight could be the final nail in the coffin of Everton being considered anything other than a poor premier league side trying to get into the top half. Moyes does nothing but perpetuate that reputation. This club is in bad bad trouble and I’m not sure if it’ll be able to recover.

Moyes would be an unmitigated disaster for Everton Football Club.

For a kick off, the present team are in no shape or form Moyes type players. To suggest he could achieve the same levels of mediocrity with them is naive at best and worse reveals a shocking level of delusion.

Secondly, he would most definitely split the support as much as a Benitez appointment.

His appointment would finally reveal all along, who is pulling the strings at the club. Brands obviously is a complete waste of space and Moshiri is as clueless towards running a football club as Kenwright.

Decent players and prospects will leave for clubs showing genuine ambition, as they are replaced with battlers and workhorses.

At a time of division and uncertainly, appointing a man that managed a decline would be catastrophic. And it beggar's belief that the club are that short-sighted, to turn to Moyes in the entire world of football.

Can the last man out please turn off the lights.
