I’m ok with the first two options, and appalled by the lastGallardo
Marcelino
Moyes/Cahill
We need to swerve the romance!
Everyone is so eager for Silva to get sacked(as am I), but maybe the wiser thing is to work the phones and get a great manager lined up first? I really do believe thats part of the hold up, and Brands isnt willing to settle for 2 years of David Moyes, so hes got to do some convincing of some of the world class managers out there first. We've already seen him do the almost impossible, getting the likes of Kean to sign, and Richarlison to extend. At no point has he struck me as someone who settles. It seems he strives for the best, and he knows it takes time for that, and is willing to put the time and energy into that for a better future.
Appoint the right manager and we compete for CL every season. Appoint the wrong manager and we finish mid table, appease people briefly compete for averageness and redo this all in a year or two. If he cant get his man right now, I can see him being very picky about who his 6 month interim is, to make sure things are well set up for the new man in June.
Passion is great and should be a given, but tactical nous is a must! You can beat your chest as much as you want but if your set up wrong then it counts for nothing! A mixture of the two and your onto a winnerSome fans would be happy with Moyes, others excited about Cahill.
I think Cahill would be a decent move and hope his passion rubs off on the players...not Moyes though.
A manager with a point to prove.I’m sorry to say but we’re in Allardyce/Moyes territory now. What decent manager would touch this club with a barge pole?
A manager with a point to prove.
Klopp for me; give him a yacht, a villa in Monaco, a Million a week...Neil Warnock for me
Pochettino, Arteta, Gallardo.Moyes then
Had 11 years to prove his point and never won a sausageMoyes then
