And Howe is?

As he's done it successfully multiple times in the Premier League before, yes. I'd argue that makes him qualified.

More so than unsuccessfully fighting relegation with 1860 Munich and managing Al-Ahli and Shanghai does, anyway.

Would be an amazing appointment. Can organise a defence and gets players to play with fight and passion. Was within afew penalty kicks of winning the champions League to go with the la Liga title. Did that with a with a team on a fraction of the budget if the big two in Spain.
Simeone with Everton would be like Fat Sam.

I'm not trying to mate, I understand it would be feutile to try - I'm simply responding to the insinuation that I don't think Howe is a top manager and should rightly be a candidate.

Plenty of deluded souls on here too busy pushing the idea of Simeone, Ancelotti, Pochettino and Allegri as if we've got a cat in hells chance. Or, on the other side, trying to convince themselves that Gallardo or Fereira are in any way qualified to drag us out of a relegation battle.
And many people feel howe isnt either.
But you keep posting about him and how great he is non stop..
You want him . Every one knows that by now . But when people dont is there any need post up another load of info on him . It's not changing their minds .

Moyes - Arteta - Cahill with Moyes to retire at end of 2021 season

I'm not really excited by any of the choices as I think Benitez will be on a hiding to nothing because anything goes wrong and we'll turn toxic against him. Pochetino would not come to a B grade version of the 'project' he just had for the last 5 years (developing team, stadium building) and I dont think we should go for an untested manager from abroad.

More importantly, Dunc should manage U23 for a while on his own,or leave, and some of the junior coaches, physios, trainers, kit staff should really be analysed and checked to see if they're contributing to a winning culture or a losing mentality.

I think David Moyes doesn't come to Everton.

If Moyes was the choice of the club, he would already be hired. He is unemployed.

I really believe in Vitor Pereira or Benitez as options right now. Chinese season is done

What I want from the new manager is a clear vision of what Everton wants to be, how we want to play football, and how to achieve those objectives. I haven't seen a clear plan and vision since Martinez. His vision and style proved to be overly ambitious, and ultimatly failed, but it was worth the effort in my opinion. The next scheme is doomed to fail as well as any Evertonian under 45 can tell you, but it is the hope of what's to come that makes me follow Everton. That is why I would be terribly disapointed with a return of my childhoodhero Moyes. I do not trust that his vision for this club will be any different to the incredibly underwhelming appoinment of Allardyce.
