And many people feel howe isnt either.
But you keep posting about him and how great he is non stop..
You want him . Every one knows that by now . But when people dont is there any need post up another load of info on him . It's not changing their minds .

Well yes, if there is absolute misinformation, lies and nonsense being put out there. I think that should be challenged on any subject, even if it supports an argument we're all unanimously behind.

Better to be hurt with the truth, than comforted with a lie.

Step away from the internet for 10 minutes and suddenly we've contacted Pochettino.

Can't wait for Moyes to be announced.

It’s all bull. The board think if we get this out to the fans we’re trying for him etc.... we tried.... then they announce Moyes etc. they do it all the time pure PR spin annoys the f out of me

Carlo Ancelotti on Everton’s shortlist to replace Marco Silva

Ancelotti’s pedigree as a three-time Champions League-winning coach makes him an ambitious target for relegation threatened Everton

Everton have discussed Carlo Ancelotti as an ambitious candidate to replace Marco Silva.
Ancelotti, the Napoli coach, has won the Champions League three times as a manager and guided Chelsea to a Premier League and FA Cup double in 2009-10.
The Italian is among the names under consideration on a wide ranging list. Vitor Pereira of Shanghai SIPG, the former Everton manager David Moyes, ex-Valencia coach Marcelino and Ajax’s Erik ten Hag are among those who have also been spoken to, or about.
Pereira, overlooked by Everton when Roberto Martinez was appointed manager in 2013, is also on the shortlist of managerless Arsenal.
An approach has also been made by Everton to former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino.
There might be scepticism as to whether Everton could secure persuade a coach of Ancelotti’s calibre to take over a club in the Premier League relegation zone, but he is the type of high-profile appointment that owner Farhad Moshiri would crave.
Moshiri previously approached Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone following the sacking of Ronald Koeman in October 2017.
Ancelotti had his contract terminated by Chelsea in a corridor at Goodison Park within an hour of a defeat by Everton on the final day of the 2010-2011 season.
The club will now press ahead with the process of finding a permanent successor to Silva, who was dismissed following face-to-face talks with Moshiri on Thursday despite director of football Marcel Brands wanting to give the Portuguese more time.
Everton want to make an appointment next week if possible with first-team coach Duncan Ferguson taking charge of Saturday’s game with Chelsea.

My choice would be Simeone.

I think he is the type of character who likes the challenge of overcoming a rival who appear untouchable.

The club has underperforming players and a budget to grow.

We need a steely manager, and a very strong character to make this club work.

I agree about his qualities, but doubt he's a realistic target.

They should ask, that doesn't cost anything, but better to look for an attainable guy with those attributes.

Just had a look at his 'Teams Managed' bit on Wikipedia, then had a good laugh.

This is just not true.

One of the best managers £ for £ managers in the league, has turned loads of league one and championship players into proven Premier League & International quality.

Also, all managers make poor signings. Two is a drop in the water across 4 or 5 years there. Plus, both Ibe and Solanke are still young, 23 or under. Every chance he does with them what he did with Wilson, Fraser, Ake, Brooks and a few others who were all raw youngsters when they signed too. Even if they don't make the grade and he sells both on this summer, he's unlikely to have made a significant loss on what they paid for them - certainly not when you balance the massive profit he'll have made on the rest of the squad he's built there on a peanuts.

The main gripe people have with him is that he paid big money to Liverpool.
I'm not trying to mate, I understand it would be feutile to try - I'm simply responding to the insinuation that I don't think Howe is a top manager and should rightly be a candidate.

Plenty of deluded souls on here too busy pushing the idea of Simeone, Ancelotti, Pochettino and Allegri as if we've got a cat in hells chance. Or, on the other side, trying to convince themselves that Gallardo or Fereira are in any way qualified to drag us out of a relegation battle.
You mean the relegation battle we arnt in. 2 wins takes us 8th 1 win 12th, 3 wins probably 6th
