Looks that Welsh rugby player is signing for the Chiefs. Doubt if he makes it past training camp but we shall see.

As for Sneed he has been paid a fortune by the Titans so good luck to him. The Chiefs have good depth at CB with Williams and Watson plus whoever they draft so hopefully it

But I just hope they draft a WR in the first round as the offense might just need to be more explosive next season to mitigate Sneeds departure.

That’s part of the problem - he doesn’t even have a position.

He’s listed as RB/WR. Obviously if he makes it past the cuts he will be paid 6 or 7 times more than he would ever get in Rugby so his motivation to succeed is obvious.

He might be good but he will have a tough job to make the squad at the Chiefs.

Should have went to the Bronco's as he would have more chance to get into the squad with them being a mess and restricted with the cap due to the Wilson mess.

Quite easy to fathom actually.

They are young men, very often from less than desirable socio-economic backgrounds and with an entourage to match.

Suddenly fame and fortune comes their way and the whole mixture explodes into situations like these.

Just glad no one was hurt.

Aye, he was perilously close to another Henry Ruggs situation. With this, he can make a few payouts, get a suspended sentence and a driving ban and keep playing. I hope he sees it as the second chance it is and that Chiefs locker room sets him straight

15 years ago when special teams coverage mattered Rugby guys had a chance.

The big guys in Rugby can't just be sumo wrestlers like NFL lines have to train for stamina. So its prob not a good fit.

Prob their best position (3rd down RB) is diminished these days and there are a ton of good Americans that play that position for around minimum salary.

Damn right. The collegiate system just produces too many great athletes for these European Rugby guys to be able to make an impact. Only need to look at track and field and see how the US dominates there.
 
Buffalo sending Diggs to Houston for a 2025 2nd round pick. It was clear he didn’t want to be there last season.

It’s a WR heavy draft this year, we have to make a move for at least 1.

Texans are putting something together. Daft to trade him within the AFC.

Texans just taking advantage of Stroud on a rookie contract.

He'll be their international player so will be on the practice squad at least all season.
The new kick off rules could be in his favour as well as a kick returner
