Still can't believe that fourth quarter in Houston by the way. Texans froze when the victory as right there for them, although that penalty for the double shift that denied them that touchdown was unfortunate. Missed that ~30yd field goal attempt as well. Never recovered from those..

Special teams caused a punt fumble and a blocked field goal but also let the returner get to our 40 at the end of regulation then ballsed up the onside kick. Real mixed bag for them today.

The boneheaded mistakes when attempting (and I use that term incredibly liberally) to close out games had moved past being worrying to being absolutely inexplicable.

On a side note though the NFL, on any given week providing more entertainment than Everton have in the past decade really opens your eyes to what sport should actually be

Money has ruined football its the haves and have nots and not sure that'll ever change sadly.

Without derailing the NFL thread too much, the amount of football games I’ve watched where the team (usually Everton) hasn’t tried to win and just wants to hold out for a 0-0 is staggering. That’s not sport and it certainly isn’t entertainment.

I much prefer US sport I don’t watch any football anymore.
