Uncle Bill has some degenerates* on his pod, so no doubt his people know what they're called, but I wouldn't wish a Bill Simmons pod on anyone, even if stranded on a desert island, lest time stands still

*I'm sure that Brits who enjoy a bet here and there are fine, upstanding people, but the only Yanks who gamble regularly are degenerates, no matter their age, class, status, or education--everyone from Cousin Sal to James Carville.

If the defense continues to adjust, and can even make a *few* decent stops per game, we think these have a solid chance to win it all

Drew Brees is amazing. I don't think he'll ever be tier one status (and that's a small group), but he's already vaulted himself into tier two I think. He's clearly in the Marino, Favre, Manning, Young group, whether he wins a second or not.

Brees is definitely taking advantage of the offensive line and weapons he has at his disposal this season. He also looks to have cut out the YoLO throws of years past and taken a page out of Brady’s book in terms of game management. Only 1 pick so far. And yes, Michael Thomas is the man

I was amazed at what they did to the Rams vaunted pass rush. Aaron Donald is no joke and overall they are good and couldn't get anywhere near Brees.

Saints are for real. I still think the Eagles will get their act together, for me the Rams and Saints are far and away the two best teams in the NFL, and the Patriots and Eagles can come from nowhere on their day. The Chiefs complete lack of a defense and history of crumbling in the playoffs (both their franchise and Andy Reid) render them irrelevant in the grand scheme for me.
