The field in Mexico is ruined and it looks like KC vs LA will be moved back to LA. Crazy that they let it get to this point.
This is the dumbest NFL scandal in recent memory. It was in my lifetime that NFL fields went turf, and many were just carpet (Texas Stadium maybe the worst), except those that remained grass. It's not like the NFL hasn't played on muddy (or snowy) fields before. This silliness is beyond understanding.
Good decision if done for safety reasons. Lots of London games have been low scoring because of the poor surface.

Have you seen the pictures? Its doesn't even look like grass is left on most of the pitch. There was a concert there and it seemingly ruined it. i read they are not sure they can even mark the pitch properly.
It is also supposed to rain a lot more between now and Monday.
considering LA is always sunny (well most of the time) and its not due to rain it simply makes more sense.
I am sure both teams would agree with this too.
