How the hell are Baltimore with Lamar going to do anything - I think we’ve seen more than enough to clarify he doesn’t have what it takes against the very highest level of competition.

Buffalo don’t have the horses to run with the power offenses, Tennessee have now lost 2 straight - embarrassingly so today. The same goes for Green Bay. Seattle have no defense whatsoever.

No I’m sorry I don’t think it’s open at all. KC and Pitt are the cream, the Bucs have Brady. That’s all there is to it.
Just as a reminder last year during this week of the season you'd have been saying no one could beat NE.

Baltimore outgained Pittsburgh 478-220 or something similar today. Does Lamar need to play better especially on the turnover front? Obviously yes, but it is naive about how football works to suggest that the Ravens can't beat Pittsburgh ever.

The Bucs have been the best team thus far but as I said Tom Brady's team was the best last year through 8 games. All in all you seem to be confused about how random one game playoffs are. All of those teams have a chance.

Yep. All that matters is making the playoffs. It’s not really all that common for the best team to actually win the Super Bowl, just whoever happens to get the hot hand at the right time.
Exactly. The Ravens were the best team in the regular season last year and it didn't matter. The Chiefs were the year before that. Often someone else lifts the trophy.

For sure. There is very little that separates even the best NFL team from the worst. That’s the way the league is designed to work. If the Ravens and Steelers played ten times, the Steelers might win six or maybe seven of those games at most.

I think six or seven is high honestly. The Ravens have perfected the art of dominating a team for 80% of the snaps but having 20% of them be so horrible that they can't win. Same thing they did against Tennessee last year.

I don’t believe one game playoffs are random at all in the final analysis

Remind me how often any team other than the 1 or 2 seed wins the super bowl please ?

They play one less game so it isn't exactly the right metric. A better thing to look at is just how often the lower seed wins each game and the answer is pretty often.

No, because I was discussing who was going to win the super bowl, not which teams would be capable of winning an individual playoff game

The whole premise is shot because you're assuming these teams are 1 and 2 seeds, which isn't even really what matters now that the 1 seed only gets the bye, and TB for example might not even win their division. But whatever, right off everyone but 3 teams now because the best team on November 1st is historically always the Super Bowl champion.

Huge win by Seattle against a division rival. Both teams very banged up. Jimmy G can't carry a team...Russ can and has.

DK Metcalf's awful showing in the 3 cone drill at the combine has turned out to be the best thing for Seattle.
