Because they're both contact sports but one of them needs helmets, padding and stoppages every six seconds. The big bunch of NFL fannies.

You know what they say about helmets.

Takes one to know one. Take one RedZone for the stoppages and see me in the morning.

I was so excited when they drafted IRGIII, RGKnee, Bobby Three Sticks, whatever you prefer. What a waste. The team is a complete joke anymore and I'm tired of them being in the cellar year in and year out.

The Browns are one of the teams I want to do well. Can their fans get a break?

Talked to my mate from North Olmsted - he says it isn't likely.

Two groups of big lads trying to take possession of an oval ball and touch it down in the oppositions end?

Totally different mate.

The only difference is that one game is played by men and the other by steroid taking leggings wearing padded up shithouses.
Good read here: http://wesclark.com/rrr/pads_and_helmets.html

They are both inherently dangerous but there are repeated brutal beatings in football. If people were taught to tackle properly instead of aiming for the weekly highlights by trying to spear other players, they would not need as much protection. They used to play it with leather hats way before I was born.

Agree completely on the point that they're steroid taking shithouses, unfortunately. But I don't mind the tight pants sometimes.

Too good in Minneapolis. Peterson fumbles into end zone, Loins recover but are called offside. Vikes ball on one inch line - next play Vikes blow it into the end zone. You can't make it up.

Flea-flicker to Fitty for a Cards TD - against the Bears. There's a report of a compost heap on fire next to Lake Michigan, or its the Bears offense.

One of these. Cutler****** out with a hammy or something - Jimmy Clausen in charge. Hard to keep up with all of this and Cubs/Cardinals as well.

How they dominated the Vikings last week...all week on the radio. Fans talking playoffs etc after an off season where the team was getting slated all the time by fans. So fickle. I love it.
I love week one Super Bowls. Do they forget what division they are in, or the fact that most of their team left a few months ago? I almost hate them as much as I hate Cowboys fans.
