To be fair, some Brits have better geography skills than your average American. Granted, we lost New Hampshire, Wisconsin, and Nebraska, but really who notices? (Apologies to @Garrick)

All that writing, when a simple WOOLS in huge letters covering the lot would've done. :bye:

The falcons 2/1 to win in Seattle on Sunday . Tough game but big odds wouldn't you say ?

Falcons and jags double is a good bet this weekend

Do you bet UK lines or US lines? I'm so used to points that it's hard to think in 2/1 terms. (Not that I bet, but that's what you hear on every TV/radio show). It's a big line (Seahawks -7), but the Falcons can put up points.

You can bet lines but the 2/1 is just Atlanta to win . I don't bother with the line betting but my brother is bang into it .

I think it's a great price on form alone . But then I'm not as clued up as most on the NFL .

Long road trip/multiple time zone difference, away from home, playing against a tough defense; these are hallmarks of a "surprise" win by the home underdog. In any case, we'll get a good sense of how good these two teams are, but if you can find good odds on a Seattle win, that might be worth taking. If you get good odds on a Falcons win, go with it, but I'd not pay much for their odds.

Kind of like English footie, the NFL used to be so much better in the 70s-early 80s before it became all corporate and PROTECT THE SHIELD-Y. The crowds were epic.

Here is the Dolphins-Chargers playoff game from 1982. I won't spoil who won it if you want to watch. The greatest college or pro game ever played. Turnovers, points, boss backup QB, big plays, one of the greatest TDs in NFL history, epic comeback, and played in the greatest football stadium (which is obviously torn down because lacking adequate luxury boxes or something) etc.

The 1st half is abridged and in poopvision. The crowd at 8:20, yes Dolphin fans this is what it used to be like there.

The epic 2nd half in entirety (and a great recording). You should really watch the whole thing if you have a couple hours. Keep in mind it was hard as hell to pass up until mid 90s rule changes (55% completion was very very good), kicking was far from a sure thing, what both teams did that day was incredible.
