NFL Thread

Might of been just a long day but I couldn't understand why the Steelers would get down to the red zone courtesy of Bell's running then try and throw it. Also seems a bit harsh to penalise a team going for two points by 10 yards when it's the other way it's just half the distance to the goal? Enjoyed both games again. Packers and Rodgers still rolling on.

You get down closer to the goal line, there is less space so the D can sell out against the run w/o worrying to have get beat deep. Its the way KC plays D and they are pretty good at it.

I'm New Orleans and proud bro.

Which one is azul?

I bet he's in the YOU hat. When you step into the NFL thread, one must should understand NFL things.

What we have here is an information problem.

Well I wasn't too far off from my 34-9 prediction of the Pats over the Texans. I guess the Pats just felt it was worth giving the Texans and extra touchdown and pat. Either way, easy money.

On a side note, I love that the Cowboys got whacked.

They're the Liverpool of American football.

Isn't that the truth... Texans are about half a good football team. The parts that are good are really good, but the parts that aren't are probably more important. The division is so very very bad that they had enough to win against their matchups. Until the Pats.

As for the Cowboys, you are so very correct. I explain the British sports media's relationship with the RS to people over here by saying "it's a lot like Skip Bayless and the Cowboys..." (cringing ensues) Now the persecution complex is in full bloom for an entire offseason.

Yep, look no further than the Chiefs D yards to points allowed ratio. Classic bend but don't break defense
