Bit different that though. It's mutual hatred based on long standing cultural heritage in a select region and you're not cloaking it or pretending it's anything other than that.
There's a difference between that and irrationally hating anyone and everyone who is not English, despite having no knowledge whatsoever about any issue that comes up for discussion in relation to them. Not excusable of course - it'd be nice if you could all get along obviously - but certainly different.
You're right, Tubey should've said "everyone that comes to this country and/or has a different religion" instead, as that is pretty much what you're saying.

Not once have I said it's the uks only problem not once have I said I hate everyone and not once have I said every immigrant is one of those who you have described. Stop putting words in my mouth. I guess that's the thing though isn't it? I've no real problem with people thinking whatever they want, so long as they keep things to themselves. You're advocating making your personal views the official government policy.

I think quite a good moral to live by is the famous Oscar Wilde quote
"Selfishness isn't doing what you want to do, it's getting others to do what you want to do"
Or words to that effect. I mean if Nik believes immigrants near him have been a bad influence, who are we to argue? Nik is allowed to have his own thoughts based on his own perspectives. Taking that and making it government policy is another kettle of fish though.
It would be nice if such a liberal perspective were adopted by the so called libertarian UKIP, but alas I think they're a million miles away from being socially liberal.

Do you not agree that we should have a filtering system in place where by only people who have the skills we have a shortage of should be allowed into our over populated island?
I just don't get what's so offensive about it. Although when people take what I'm saying and twist it into a 'I hate all immigrants' type of thing then I can see why it would be. It's just simply not true. I just think our policies on letting whoever come in whenever has damaged us quite significantly. It's not exactly a non mainstream opinion either. It's been admitted roundly across the board.
