My biggest fear is Carlo does exactly that and uses it as a stick to beat him with. I’ve seen it from managers before. They put young players in impossible odds and say ‘well lookie here never again’
I reckon he'll go with the 5 again, Mina, Keane and Holgate, and it wouldn't surprise me after today Carlo thinking Godfrey can slot in at left wing back with Iwobi staying at right wing back.
People need to remember he wasn't bought for the first team he was bought for the 23's.

Because he haven't got adequate back up for Digne. Look at what was said when he first signed. Brands said he was to play for the 23's.
I would much rather watch a young player struggle and get valuable experience that will help him grow as a player than watch a senior player like Delph - whose best days are way behind him - get those minutes instead. If Carlo won’t play the lad even in these circumstances then he needs to go on loan. He’s literally not playing any competitive football right now. How do you justify that if you’re Everton?

Yeah let's hang another young player out to dry so angry,self entitled Evertonians can persecute him anytime we don't get the required results. Everton FC isn't a good club to play as a young player leaning his trade when results aren't go our way. Also I don't think Everton need to justify anything,it's the decision of the manager and that's the end of it.
