The lad was awful at cardiff did not impress in any of his other moves. He found some form in the 2nd division in france was a good deal at the time made money on him. Could have went both ways was a risk

He started off poor at Cardiff but started to improve halfway through his loan there.

Seen plenty of Cardiff fans praising him quite regularly towards the end of his loan.
Although I think its fairly obvious to anyone who's seen the lad play he is 100% a winger.

I was talking about it from the view of the owner.

Ive made my views on kenwright quite clear on this forum.

Yeah i am just glad with him and simms we made some money have kept these lads for to long let the contracts run out. Would include a sell on fee and buy back for fixed price if we can in the future

OOC next summer you mean.

There was no reason to put an option in the deal. So no the club didnt "get what they could for him" as they could have got 3x the fee.

Its total stupidity.

No I don’t mean that, he signed a 3 year deal that ran out at the end of last season. So yes the club did get what they could for him.

We must have extended it as Nkounkou is being quoted as saying he was expecting to return to Everton -- not for Saint Etienne to have that option to sign him...or to be out of contract.
