Well that is Everton out of the running then. 2 Championship clubs can out bid us.

Stranger things have happened but unless we get some better link up play and support from midfield we could have Messi up front and he would be made to look average. That said, we need a striker as we sold all ours!

The lad looks like he can certainly finish, but to fit into our system he will need to be able to play on his own, hold it up and run the channels. Does he fit the bill?

Still a bit dubious as when I see an Everton rumour and it has numbers and a little m after it, I just generally ignore them.

Surely if everton knew we rejected a 7.2 million bid its going to be more... to be honest we need the money. We were bought over from Craig Whyte in the summer and we thought that was our money problems solved now we have a 49 million tax case looming if we lose that administration is almost a definite. I know this may not sound the best to you guys but i would compare him to a berbatov type player but not lazy and hes a good finisher good finisher and can score overhead kicks. Also very good in the air

All saying nothing below £8m, but they wouldn't mind something like £5m and a player. Some lads said he'd like £5m and Anichebe another Saha. Hahaha get to it it Moyes, I'd pay a team £5m each just to get rid of the both of them!

I think West Ham didn't offer much cash up front. I think you might accept a lower offer which has more up front and less in installations because of your cash flow problems.
