Are we ever going to sign someone that gets me excited ever again?

I understand going for run of the mill players like Gibson for 50k because we've got no money. But spending millions that we haven't got on Jelavic, who is the most average player since Magaye Gueye, is ****ing ridiculous. Especially considering someone like Rodallega would be half the price.

well ive give my opinion on jellylegs and if u boys do get him good luck , but imo he will do nothing but stats dont lie and well ive posted his 74 goals in 10 years tells it all and 2 goals in 17 for his country is rubbish aswell .....good luck everton and ofcourse celtic bhoy david moyes.

£8m would be a ridiculous price to pay for him. agreed. But we won't be paying anywhere near that. This is why agent Bill (aka the world's greatest Evertonian) has waited until nearly the last minute before pouncing. Rangers are desperate to sell; they are not in a strong bargaining position. It will be around £5m if it happens, and even then only some would be upfront.

What is the fascination with Rodallega... and before anyone says because he scores more than Saha (averages about 1 goal in 3 games across his career , but only 1 in 4 since being at Wigan), so do most strikers in the Prem!

Would prefer Jelavic personally.
