He's had a bad day today, players aren't robots, and he's had a great start with us so far. We've looked far better with him in the team.

Wouldn't mind in 12-18 months time this thread being revaulted and actually seeing if Davek is right, one month doesn't make a season.

Great so far, but let's see.

With all due respect i think anybody who knows anything about football can see that Jelavic is worth more than the £1.5m Davek was rating him at, while also saying that was a high estimate !

Haha no doubt, I think Davek was just making the point to show how little he rates him.
 
He looked tired to be honest and no surprise as he has played the best part of 3 games within a week. Taking that into account and the fact that he is still adjusting to the pace of the league, we should cut him some slack.
 
I still partially agree with Dave, but he scores goals....

So I'm suffering from split brain syndrome. Help.
 

all 5 goals have been 1st touch finishes, he really is a much better player when he doesnt have to think so much, instinct, same with his passing. ****e at one on ones so far
 
When we got him, he didn't stand out. I thought it would be about time until we get a new striker, maybe as early as the summer transfer window.

But when he scored against the Cats, I started to like him. Now he's really grown on me. Jelavic = signing of the season
 
Best january transfer?
For me it's Jelly or that new Newcastle forward (Cisse) looks great too - don't know for how much did they buy him.
Can't wait for FA semis and Jelavic to score against them

He looks to be a Moyes bargain. I think he's just going to get better and better.

I'm made up he's doing so well especially after all those who doubted his ability.

Thats me..hold my hands up, he only has to bang one in at Wembley to be our new hero.
 
So glad we've finally sorted this position out. We're a different animal with a quality striker up front. His touch and skill is brilliant and his finishing is pinpoint plus he's got a good leap and is decent in the air. For the fee we paid for him you can't ask for any more.
