I've seen that expression many a time.

I don’t think he’s quite got the vision for it. For CSKA he’s very much set to play there but does a lot of work deep too. I don’t really understand the shouts on here that he isn’t physical enough for the PL either.

...his running style actually reminds me lots of Jack Wilshire, but I think he’s ideal to play behind a central attacker. I have no fear about his physicality, he’s a solid enough lad who can go past defenders in the top third, pick a pass (his ‘vision’ is confirmed by his Champions League statistics) and score a goal.

Yeh I was meaning vision more in the Dowell/De Bruyne sort of vision finding cute passes around players. I’m pretty skeptical he’ll be here next season but think it would be a shame. Under Silva I think he would be a hit.

..I agree, I think it’s doubtful he has a future here. I have a feeling Silva isn’t a big fan, not sure if that might be as much to do with attitude as it is ability. Time will tell.

Yeh it’s a strange one as he came in sounding like a really humble, grateful lad but his comments (if actually from him) were a bit immature. But then again it’s his career and if he thinks he’s better than the players here fair play to him.

His dad blowing smoke up his arse probably hasn’t helped where the comments of being the best midfielder we have on the books is concerned. If he continues showing the form he has this season so far for CSKA then I think silva is the sort of manager that will give him a decent chance.

I think one of Silva's priorities is team spirit alongside individual skill or ability and it may be in this department he though Vlasic was lacking last/pre season. If he gets this sorted (and I am guessing here) I think you can't ignore him next season given what he appears to be doing on the field as CSKA.

I hope so because we seen snippets of it last season when the whole team failed. He could be a quality signing but silva knows what he wants and you only have to look at the signings he made this summer to realise just how good a man manager he really is. Amazing how quick they have settled in just hope this lad gets his chance and takes it
