He needed to go out on loan. He would not get into the team at present and would be unhappy sitting on the bench or playing with the under 23s.

He needs to keep his mouth shut, play football and see what happens at the end of the season.

I think we as supporters may need to realise that the standard of player at Everton has risen dramatically with the arrivals in recent windows.
Pickford, Digne, Bernard, Gomes, Richarlison, Zouma, Keane(season 2018/2019 version) and Minna all seem to be serious upgrades.

I think that a lot of our home grown talent will make handsome careers out of football but very few will do it at Everton.

I can’t see Davies , Dowell ,Kenny , DCL being around our first team squad in 5 years

I'd still bet on lozano arriving mate. Gomes on a permanent deal and the forward thinking positions are pretty much sorted.

I've convinced myself he's coming in January too mate. Everything has just been so quiet about him since after the world cup that I reckon somebody must have agreed a deal with PSV, but allowed him to stay to participate in the CL. And I reckon we must be favourites because of Brands connections.

Yeah I do hope so, silence around him has been weird for sure, especially given who his agent is.

Nah mate me and Vlad are sound with each other still! Just post allardyce needed a break from all things football - coincided with starting a few projects work wise and a new baby who is now two months old!

Without doubt Vlasic is the better prospect. Hopefully it was a case of him looking for first team football, which Silva couldn't guarantee, rather than a falling out

Needs to become more physically imposing if he's to ever succeed in England.

First time I've watched him this season. He's playing quite advanced in the middle of the midfield. Good on the ball. Technically strong and looks lively. But not got the presence or athleticism to hurt the Roma defence. And made a number of errors in possession.

Still don't think we'll see him in an everton shirt again and there is a reason to be honest

I didn't watch him tonight. My judgement is purely based on watching him in the flesh, all be it limited.

Gylfi was gracing the pitches of Crewe and Shrewsbury at similar age as loanee. The lad does really needs to button it and knuckle down play and develop.
